Two of the top global 100 MBA programmes (according to the FT) are based in the Netherlands.
The schools are Rotterdam (placed 5th in Europe) and Nijenrode (placed 20th). Additionally,
another school, NIMBAS, operates in several European countries, including the Netherlands.
The rankings refer to the FT 2001 survey covering the top 100 MBA schools worldwide.
The rating positions listed here refer to their position within Europe only and not the
worldwide positions. The FT carried out a similar research project in 2000 and
compared to the 2000 ratings both Rotterdam and Nijenrode have improved their position
within Europe. Rotterdam is up from 6th to 5th place, while Nijenrode has risen from 21st to
20th. NIMBAS has dropped slightly (from 19 to 26).
