 | MBAs in Germany |
|
|
There are no MBA schools listed in the ratings of european schools, perhaps surprisingly for
the largest country in europe. There appears to have been less attention on MBAs in Germany
than in other european countries, although there may be a small swing in opinion underway currently,
we seem to be a way off from a major change in opinion. Previously the main "business"
degree has remained the Diplom-Kaufmann.
The MBA market in Germany contains both national players and also a number of overseas schools
which have entered the market such as GISMA and Duke (Fuqua) - both US schools - as well as
NIMBAS - a player in several European countries. Both Duke and NIMBAS currently offer only
part time MBAs whereas GISMA offers full and part time formats. Contact details, course
formats (duration, formats) can be found at

Despite the limited information on MBAs in Germany, two sites provide
a lot of useful information and recommendations for German business
schools, including information on MBAs in Germany and German speaking countries. Both sites
contain information in German and English.
