The Financial Times carried out a survey on executive MBA (EMBA) programs at the
end of 2001. Inviting 72 business schools to take part in the survey they published the
top 50 schools in November 2001.

The FT rankings are primarily based on the graduates' current salary (3 years after
graduation) and the precentage increase since entry to the course. Together these make up
40% of the score, with the remainder made up of work experience, career progression,
faculty and student profile and a number of other criteria.
