Logfile Analysis

There are lots of programs that can help to analyse your logfiles, but these don't give you the whole picture. We provide the basic information on visitors to your website such as the number of unique visits and visitors, pages viewed and country of origin, but we are also able to provide deeper information. This means we can identify which search terms, or combination or search terms, deliver visitors to each page and the route that the visitor is most likely to take after they enter. Questionnaire Design and Analysis

Getting the questionnaire right is a so important to the research project. If you do not get the questionnaire right, then all the money spent subsequently will be wasted. Not only do the questions have to be clear, easily understood and unambiguous but it must be possible to analyse the responses to answer the original research question. Sounds obvious, but too many questions are not designed with the analysis in mind. Kalta combines experience in both questionnaire design and analysis.

Our Analysis Unit helps our clients find solutions to a wide range of business issues in areas such as segmentation, profiling, new product development.

We are experienced in analytical techniques including multivariate analysis, all forms of regression including logistic and multinomial logit, cluster analysis, factor analysis, multi-level modelling, multi-dimensional scaling, CHAID, CART, structural equation modelling, neural networks, frontier analysis, forecasting, and system dynamics.

Our analysis unit has experience across a wide range of sectors and business issues. Unlike some organisations we are not limited to experience in only one or two analytical tools. This means we can use the best tool for the job to extract the maximum insight from your data. Data Services Unit

The key services offered by the unit are data cleaning including de-duplication, and building databases in SAS or SQL which can then be used by our clients for analytics or campaigns.

Duplicate data causes a number of problems. It means higher campaign costs, a poorer customer experience when customers receive the same communication more than once, and an insight gap since a single view of the customer cannot be maintained when data about a single customer is split up among duplicate records. Our data unit can identify duplicate records, bring these together and advise on how to minimise the number of duplicates in the future.

Our data unit also creates a single view of the customer by combining different data sources to provide a complete view of every customer. This may mean combining product holdings, sales enquiries and contact history into one database that will give you the edge in targeting the right offer to the right customer.
